so we got married. it was coming up on our 5 year anniversary and my lady got me drunk and said 'hey wanna get married' and i said 'yeah ok'. romance! we had 2 friends as our witnesses and another friend as our officiant and another friend to help with pics and that was it! we told no one else that we were going to get married. and so on our 5th anniversary, a day with the temperature hanging around 14 degrees, we got hitched in front of the capitol building. it was pretty great. since i had already blown the gift of the animal drawings book i had done for her for our anniversary 2 years prior (see the ahh l'emur page for that) i needed something new for a present this time. i decided to do a 1 page comic of our story with no dialogue and super simple and cute characters in it. the whole project came to me pretty quickly and i had the print by the time we were married (more or less). we framed it and hung it in our house and people seem to think its pretty darn cute. i then used the basic characters from that to make the invites for our wedding party we would later have. i must say it is pretty darn cute indeed.
